Nice six-tube transformer set. Manufactured by the Andrea Radio Corp. Completely restored. All wax paper and filter capacitors replaced. All resistors checked and replaced if out of range. Emerson started up in 1915 manufacturing phonographs and producing records in New York City. They started selling radios in 1924, with their first big seller being the "Peewee" in 1932. After the war, they branched out, selling home appliances and later, televisions. The Emerson Corporation is still in business today. The model 45 is a six-tube, two-band (AM,SW) radio. The capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents. The resistors and tubes were checked and replaced where needed. The original phono input can be adapted for an external device upon request. The Ingraham cabinet is in great condition and was refinished to a semi-gloss finish. The knobs, chassis and speaker are original to the set. A period-correct reproduction grille cloth was added as well as a new cloth power cord and safety fuse. These early Emerson tombstones are seldom seen, especially in this condition. A very nice model 20 manufactured by Philco Storage Battery co. Seven-tube TRF (tuned radio frequency). Complete restoration inside and out. Recapped, and all resistors checked and replaced if out of range. All tubes tested and replaced if needed. Plays very well for its vintage. Beautiful scroll work on the front; the cabinet was finished with stain and lacquer. A beautiful addition to your radio collection. 18"H x 16"W x 10"D. $425.00. (1710061)

Nice Philco wood table model. Seven tubes. AM and two short wave bands. Complete restoration, all tubes tested and replaced as needed. All resistors checked and replaced if out of range. Full recap and complete alignment. This radio plays and looks good. Five tunable station pushbuttons, the one on the left is the power switch. A really nice Philco model 60. Five-tube transformer set with standard broadcast (AM), and Police short wave bands. Version 2, January of 1934. This radio has been completely restored. All Bakelite blocks rebuilt with new capacitors. All filter caps replaced. New power cord, and grille cloth. All tubes checked, all resistors tested and replaced as needed. A fuse was added for circuit protection. An auxiliary cable was installed for MP3 and Bluetooth connections. This set looks and plays very well. Nice four-tube regenerative circuit radio. Part of the line of affordable small cathedrals made in the early to mid 30's. Complete recap by rebuilding all the Bakelite blocks. The radio was modified with a resistor change in the IF circuit to improve stage gain. New power cord, new grille cloth. A nice addition to your radio collection. 14"H x 12"W x 8"D. $220.00. Very nice AA5 Bakelite. Completely restored. New power cord, new back. An auxiliary cable for MP3 or Blue Tooth was installed. All electrolytic and wax paper capacitors replaced. All resistors checked and replaced if out of range. Complete alignment. This radio has been upgraded using a polarized cord to be completely safe if your house wiring is up to code. Nice cabinet no cracks or chips. A quality addition to your radio collection. 11"W x 7"H x 7"D. $125.00. (1710064)

About Mike's Vintage Radios and Terms of Sale

- Here at Mike's Vintage Radios I strive to provide you with quality working antique radios.  Most radios are restored both electronically and cosmetically.  If not it will be stated in that particular ad.  I do all my own work, cabinet and electronic.  If something has been outsourced It also will be stated.  Many parts included are reproductions, such as decals, grille cloth, power cords, and dial lenses.  I will state in the ad when using these items.  All tubes are tested, all radios are aligned and bench tested.  Older sets will need an antenna, usually about 25 feet of wire stretched out in a straight line.  I will include antenna wire with every radio that requires one.  Later model sets have built in antennas and work well on AM or FM stations.  Short wave radios that have an internal antenna will also require an additional linear antenna.  Instructions on hook up will be included with the radio.

- Restored radios sold by Mike's Vintage Radios are guaranteed for 60 days after purchase.  If there is a problem please contact me and I will do everything possible to correct it.  If needed you can ship the radio back to me and I will repair it.  The buyer should never attempt to repair the radio without contacting me first, or the warranty will be voided! Shipping expenses back to me is the buyers responsibility.  Shipping expenses to the buyer is my responsibility.  The repair is under warranty if within the 60 days of purchase.

- Mike's accepts PayPal and checks.  Payment plus shipping must be deposited and checks must clear my bank before I ship your radio.  Mike's Vintage Radios will not provide or sell your personal information to anyone.  When the order is made you will receive an invoice through e-mail with cost plus shipping.  A receipt will be sent with the radio.  Any reasonable offers will be considered.

- Mike's will pack every radio using heavy duty shipping boxes, large bubble wrap, packing peanuts, and solid Styrofoam.  It is my goal to go above and beyond packing your radio to avoid any possibility of damage.  I have shipped many radios successfully with no damage.  I will check to find you the best carrier at the best price.  Fed Ex home delivery is a preferred shipper.  I will ship within three days of payment received.  If there is damage from shipping the claim must go through the shipper.  If I find that the damage is the shipper or the buyers fault, I will negotiate a fair repair price.  If the buyer is not satisfied I will offer a full refund minus shipping and insurance.  If the buyer pays the shipper directly, the buyer assumes all responsibility for settlements due to damage.  When shipping a radio back to me please use the same packing procedures I used, with items listed above.  If the radio is not packed correctly the refund will be denied.  Please contact me if you have questions, or for any reason at: soundmikey14@gmail.com or phone me at (503) 730-4639.  I am located in Beaverton Oregon, just outside Portland.
