Zenith 6-D-525 "Toaster" (1941)

NEW!

Zenith 6-D-525 "Toaster" (1941)

This is a 1941 Zenith AM six-tube superheterodyne commonly called the toaster radio. The chassis powers an original 4-inch speaker. The cabinet is original and in great shape. This one has the original back which most of them do not. The knobs and grille cloth are original. The dial plastic is a new reproduction and looks like a white blemish on it but it is just a reflection of me taking the picture. The chassis was restored with all new electrolyte and wax capacitor replacements. All tubes tested excellent. It was cleaned lubed and aligned for peak performance and it plays great. 12"W x 8"H x 7"D. $295.00. (0040480)

Zenith R-520/URR Military Trans-Oceanic (1953)

NEW!

Zenith R-520/URR Military Trans-Oceanic (1953)

The R-520/URR is a highly modified H500 built to military specs and only 5000 were made. Therefore they are the best playing and best in frequency pickup then either the 500 or 600's. The cabinet were covered in Brown oil cloth. This one was used as you can see blemished in the oil cloth. The chassis and component were dipped in a special fungicide and humidity protective bath. This one comes with antenna cord for the wavemagnet, extra tubes, fuses and a repro operating instruction book. A rare radio for a great price. $845.00. (0040479)

Zenith Royal D7000Y Trans-Oceanic (1978)

NEW!

Zenith Royal D7000Y Trans-Oceanic (1978)

This one is literally like new out of the box. I sold what I called the holy grail of Zenith D7000Y's a few months ago and this one is its brother. Like new in appearance and in performance. Another one of the best I have seen in 25 years. This beautiful radio required no alignment to very little on a couple of bands. When the FM is right on you know this radio was played very little. That also means this one is in the top 10% of the best playing FM Being a D7000Y it has the dial in weather band. AM/Shortwave are like new. It comes an original plastic box and packing material, a pristine logbook, and an original cord. It is restored with all new electrolytic capacitors which will allow the radio to play another 40 years like new. 1 year warranty. The radio will be shipped back to you by USPS Priority which only takes 2-3 days. $625.00. (0040478)

Being the first 7000 built in 1969, its AM/Shortwave pickup is better than the 7000-1 and the D7000Y. The top is like new as you can see in the picture. Inside the case has wear around the dial knob but. It comes with a logbook and an original cord. It is restored with all new electrolytic capacitors which will allow the radio to play another 40 years like new. 1 year warranty. Zenith C725L (1964)

Zenith C725L (1964)

You get the sound of a 3000 with a tube radio which actually sounds better on FM then the Zenith T/O. Its chassis number is 7C06. With seven tubes and a rectifier and a 3000 speaker, it just plays beautifully on FM. AM is just as good. I replaced the selenium rectifier, all the electrolyte and wax capacitors.
