THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is nice looking and good working radio and it has been completely gone through and electronically restored. It was one of the last of Packard Bell's models produced in 1941 right at the start of WWII when their factory began working entirely for the war effort. This is an extremely powerful eight-tube Superheterodyne radio with a very large wire-wound built-in antenna which helps this receiver to bring in stations loud and clear and with the tone you can only get from one of these fine tube radios. And did you take notice, that it has a dual dial scale and dual dial needles? Very unusual. The finish as you can see is very nice too. 16-1/2"W x 9-1/2"H x 9-1/2"D. |
