THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here is a vintage classic, the 1932 "Majestic Sherwood" model 15 built by Grigsby Grunow Co. It's a five-tube superheterodyne AM receiver. This set has not been restored. The beautifully styled cabinet is in nice condition; it has a good speaker cover, I have replaced the rotted power cord with a vintage type cord and plug and cleaned up the chassis so there is no rust. All five tubes have been tested and are good. The power transformer is questionable. and is why I'm selling a $300+ radio for this price. 15"H x 13-1/2"W x 10"D; weighs a hefty 27 pounds. |
