THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

BC. This was Philco's highboy cabinet in 1929 and is highlighted in stunning burled walnut and patterned black walnut and birdseye walnut on the front with acoustic cutouts on the sides of the set. The doors open to the original tapestry grille cloth, knobs and finish on the inside front panel. This cabinet has the model 95 "screen grid plus" chassis which meant it used the latest and greatest #24 screen grid tubes and was Philco's first AVC (automatic volume control). This set also featured the volume control in the audio section, ahead of its time, and a powerful 4 watt push pull output using the coveted #45 output tubes. These are Seldom offered for sale. 47"H x 28"W x 14"D.
