Coronado 1170 Console (1936)
(wood tube console radio w/SW)

Coronado 1170 Console (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

BC+2SW. This set is a scarce, very unusual, and high-end piece. The Greek revival cabinet is constructed of oak instead of the traditional maple or poplar and the fantastic grain shows thru everywhere! The spectacular backlit glass dial is simply beautiful with its green tuning eye and volume/tone dial indicators. The radio also features its original knobs and grille cloth for a perfect original as-new look! The chassis is a high-end eleven-tuber with three stages of audio amplification including a push-pull 6F6 output into a monster 12" Utah speaker; the tone is simply thundering! Not many of these out there, a great addition to a collection of outstanding sets! 38"H x 12"W x 12"D.
