| The Silvertone 4764 radio represented the very top of the line tabletop model in 1938. The tremendous seven-tube super-het chassis offers both AM and shortwave. It plays and sounds great picking up stations all across the dial. A brand new super sensitive green tuning eye has been added to the set. The gold dial is dramatic, with many European locations identified for easier shortwave tuning. The cabinet has been refinished and looks nice (see photos). This beautiful radio has been completely electronically restored with all capacitors replaced, resistors and tubes checked and replaced as needed.
