Radiola III (1924)
(wood tube casket radio)

Radiola III (1924)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

RCA's Radiola III was one of the industry's most successful early radios. This one is complete with a photo copy of the original owner's manual. The cabinet has been refinished, but retains the original label. The battery cord is in excellent condition with original metal identification tabs intact. The nickel plating is worn off the pointers, revealing the metal. Overall the control panel displays well as shown. Internally the radio is complete and in beautiful condition. I replaced the mounting rubber for the tube socket and it is nice and solid. It takes two WD11 tubes, or 199 tubes with base adapters (not included). It is offered untested and will make a great display piece. 5" x 8" x 6-1/2".
