| This is one of those rare finds that would have to be new in the box to be nicer. The marbleized brown Bakelite cabinet still retains the original high gloss shine, and it's perfect right down to the decal. I've personally never seen one with the decal still intact. The grille cloth and knobs are original and also perfect. The only imperfections I can find are a light spot of discoloration in the dial and fine hairline cracks in the push buttons. The push buttons are complete, solid and all of them work. I'm not willing to try removing the buttons to get the chassis out for servicing. The radio has clean sound, but there is a background hum. I will include station tabs to match radio stations in your area past or present. 10"W x 7-1/2"H x 6"D. |
