THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This rare 1948 portable was offered with brown Bakelite trim. The radio was sold in Bakelite, Plaskon or wood cabinet with Bakelite or Plaskon trim. The dial is just made of thick paper. I could only find a couple of images of this radio on line. There may have been a thin possibly Plaskon frame around the dial. From what I can find I do not believe there was ever a clear dial cover. As shown the dial is intact, but is only fair at best. The Plaskon trim is excellent with no cracks or chips. The cabinet has been refinished, but otherwise it is all original including the grille cloth. The chassis has been serviced and it plays well. 10-1/2"W x 8"H x 6-1/2"D.
