The Strato-World was an attractive multi band radio featured in a leather case. This example shows wear but overall good condition. The world map was distorted and two screws were added to the top edge to hold it in place. It is missing the ferrite rod but includes many extras. The hang-tag, manual, shortwave chart, copy of schematics and an original VS 047 A&B battery box. The box is complete and the only original example I've seen. This set has a solid state 1L6 tube and an additional 3V4,1U5 and 1U4. Some clips are missing on the door but the chassis displays like new. It has been serviced and works well receiving both AM and shortwave. Popup antenna works designed with no kinks.
