THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

In addition to making radios for amateur and military use, Hallicrafters produced radios for the home market in the 50s. This radio was made to operate on AC/DC or battery (batteries hard to get and too expensive now). Receives both AM broadcast and short wave stations very well. Parts were replaced as needed. Has a metal tag on top inscribed "J M Sappenfield Lt. S C USN Navy Exchange NAS Pax River, MD 1955-1956." Case is fabric over wood. Start or add to your collection with this unusual little radio.
