Delco R-1235 (1946)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Delco R-1235 (1946)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This Delco radio reminds me of the old Embassy theater in my home town. The reason I say that is the Art Deco lines on either side of the front of this beautiful brown swirled Bakelite radio remind me of the curtains that hung from the ceiling to the floor. The curtains must have been 100' long. Anyway, this one is mint and plays even better than it looks...if that's possible! It's been tuned, aligned and electronically restored. All six tubes are strong. You can see the external antenna wire for greater sensitivity. No chips, dings, cracks...another "Jim Dennis Scale of Beauty 10+!" If you'd like additional pics please let me know.
