(plastic tube portable radio)

Arvin 650P (1952)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Q & A: What do you get lying in the sun (with 30+ protection)? A: Suntan (eventually)! Q & A: Where were you June 6, 1952? A: Don't remember? Well, that's when this beautiful portable and electric Arvin Suntan model was made. Its birth certificate is stamped on the tube layout inside of the case! The creamy tan case is plastic with a faux-like leather that you never ever see in this condition! The center dial is like a mirror with some minor scratches. The clear Lucite handle is mint, just like the rest of the case. The five tubes check out okay. Another 10+ on the "Jim Dennis Scale of Beauty!" The inside is clean, too. If you'd like additional pics please let me know. 11"W x 8"H x 4"D.
