Emerson 578A (1946)
(wood tube table radio)

Emerson 578A (1946)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here's the little bitty brother to the one-eyed convex-dial wood Cyclops that I recently posted. It's an Emerson in walnut that's absolutely beautiful! The very sleek walnut case that houses this lil' guy was designed by none other than the "Gucci" of radio guys, good ol' Charlie Eames! Of course, it's been electronically refurbished and it plays so well! All five tubes are strong with a tube layout glued "inside" the case. A tight little radio! Yep, it too is a real classic! You guessed it - another 10+ on the Jim Dennis "Scale of Beauty!" If you'd like additional pics, please let me know. 10"W x 6"H x 6"D.
