Philco 46-200 (1946)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Philco 46-200 (1946)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

An anomaly for sure! The Philco's case is brown Bakelite, of course, but it's brand new! I've had this empty case for years and years. The man I bought it from got it from a production line person at the Philco factory back in the day. It was never, ever assembled. So, I completed the job with an electronically reconditioned, loop antenna replacement, tuned and aligned a 46-200 chassis. Plays great, as Philcos do! The tubes are strong, dial cover is original, it has a new cord and a new laser cut back, something it was deprived of in 1946! I have to rewrite the guidelines for Jim Dennis' "Scale of Beauty" because this beauty is NEW! If you'd like additional pics please let me know.
