THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This little chocolate brown guy was made for Coronado Radio by Gamble-Skogmo. To make it even more complicated they must have figured that since this radio is so small we don't want it to develop a complex. So, they hung this moniker on it: model 93RA31-43-8115A. Then some brilliant engineer-type said let's just call it "Cub" for short. You with me so far? It gets easier. Both companies were in Minnesota. Electronically reconditioned with new paper and electrolytic capacitors with all out of tolerance resistors replaced. The four tubes are strong. It still retains its 50' antenna hank for improved reception and sensitivity. A Jim Dennis "Name Game" Special. If you'd like additional pictures please let me know. 8"W x 6-1/2"H x 3-5/8"D. |
