Penncrest 1151 (1960s)
(plastic tube portable radio)

Penncrest 1151 (1960s)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is just a very nice eight-transistor radio made in the early 60's by Toshiba for JC Penney. This makes a perfect daily player that produces clear sound with good tone and great sensitivity. It is compact and durable at 4-1/2"H x 2-1/2"W x 1-1/4"D, and it is in great cosmetic condition with no chips, cracks, or dents. The back fits on tight and the unit plays very strong on a common 9 volt battery. This will become one of your favorites. Also included is the original leather case which will continue to protect it as you enjoy using it.
