Offered here in excellent condition is this tiny Sony nine-band shortwave radio made in Japan in 1989. This little guy comes with its original protective pouch. I love that it operates on only two common "AA" batteries. The reception on this radio is just what you would expect from a Sony, meaning it picks up everything on AM and FM even without the telescoping antenna extended. What a sweet radio and one that is perfect for travel or walking (it has a lock switch which disables the buttons while in your pocket). It even picked up some SW channels (with the antenna extended). Comes with a tone switch on the side for voice or music reception.
