| This 1A is simply the cleanest one I've ever seen. The horn is made of pressed fiber, like WE horns. This one is absolutely perfect. No chips, cracks, all the original paint, including the silver, is A+. The same goes for the base. Wood color is beautiful, no chips, cracks, holes. The decals top and bottom are fine and the electro-mechanical driver works as new. Including the "air handler" which is always stuck! Horn sounds loud and clear. This horn would be the perfect companion for most any early 20's set, especially Grebe, since they were made right next door. This is a rare and perfect piece for any serious collection. |
