Original Grundig, with the old shamrock logo, in a beautiful original finish cabinet. Plays very well; if you're into Shortwave, you will love this model. Seven bands (LW 150-350, FM 87-100, 2-AM bands 550-1600 and 3-SW bands, 16-49m) and eight tubes. Gigantic 14"x8" woofer and 5"x7" mid/tweeter. One of their last models with the powerful EL-12 (new) output tube. The EM34 magic eye is also new and bright. What makes this model special is its SW band which is split into three separate bands. SW-1 is 41-49m, SW-2 is 25-39m and SW-3 is 16-24m allowing for great fine tuning. The AM is also split into 2 bands, AM-1, 550-950, AM-2 1000-1600. It plays great and tunes in lots of SW stations with only a short antenna wire. Excellent cabinet has a high gloss dark oak finish and very little wear. Some of the pushbuttons have hairline cracks and one has a chip. Excellent knobs. Original back has clear writing. Original speaker cloth is very good as well as the glass. 25"W x 16"H x 11"D.
