(wood tube table radio)

Siemens H-42 Schatulle (1955)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A great playing Siemens Schatulle. Schatulle is German for "treasure chest." It has two full range 9" speakers, six tubes and four bands. Bands are AM 550-1600, FM 87.5-100, SW 16-49m and LW 150-350 and plays strong on all bands. In addition there are inputs for a high level output device such as Phono, Tape, CD, MP3 etc. Selectable voltage from 110-220v. Tone controls are Bass and Treble. When closing the right door the panel lights turn off. The cabinet is solid but not mint with some light scratches and dings but still looks impressive with its "mirror image" veneer on top and doors. Grille cloth and back cover are both very good. Great bass! 40 pounds packed. 22-1/2"W x 15-1/2"H x 12"D.
