CBS T-202
(plastic tube table radio)

CBS T-202

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a unique radio that most often sports the Trav-Ler moniker; this CBS version is much harder to find. It's truly a design that was ahead of the times--deceptively simple yet sophisticated compared to other creations during the post-Eames era and highlighted by the Mercedes Benz dial. This 50's tube radio is very clean and working well, having just been serviced by Gary Schneider of Playthings of the Past. It tunes in local stations with good selectivity and volume. The plastic case is in excellent condition as shown and retains the original cardboard back as well as volume and dial knobs and most of the bottom label. The aqua-blue grille is not faded like most two-tones, same for the brilliant white case. There are no cracks, hairline splits nor any chips with just some marks on the bottom and lighter scratches on top. This CBS radio would be a very nice and eye catching addition to your collection! About 9-1/2"W x 6"H x 6-1/2"D.
