THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here is a treat seldom seen. The use of radio was universal, and like today, in every room. So if you wanted a radio in a library or office, why not make it look like a finely bound set of books? That is exactly what Sonora, a better maker of radios, did. This radio is in nearly perfect condition. The leather like binding, shows little wear, and the balance of the radio made of mahogany in like condition. Sitting on a shelf, this looks like a set of books, and drop the front panel, and there is a radio complete with tone controls! Take note of the fancy balled feet, the complete factory back and a replacement cord of silk with a reproduction Bakelite plug. The set has had that level of electronic restoration. The work was well deserved by such a fine set. This five tube radio has a great sound! 12"W x 9"H x 8"D. |
