International Kadette 53 Tombstone (1936)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

International Kadette 53 Tombstone (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Few makers of radios were better in the manufacturing than International Radio Corp. They were based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and were a renowned company. Here is a sold example of the 1936 product line. Note the expensive use of lacquer finishes over ornate fine veneers. Classic in style of the era, the port hole dial lights up a darkened room. The radio has had the complete electronic restoration, and is a very strong playing set. Moderate in size by yet the radio has a great presence. The dial is way cool, so take a look at my close up and see if you agree. Here is a very solid set to add to your collection! 16-1/2"H x 14"W x 10"D.
