Atwater Kent 627 Cathedral (1932)
(x tube cathedral radio)

Atwater Kent 627 Cathedral (1932)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

I have sold many radios, but none better than those made by Atwater Kent company. Over two decades, there was no company more dedicated to the marriage of state of the art electronics and the very finest in cabinetry. This radio is the very finest example of this scarce model. The radio is so perfect and clean, you would swear it left the factory last year. The radio is an early super-het, with seven tubes. The radio was completely restored, with all new filters and caps. My technician has extensively checked every component and the radio is a perfect player. The radio retains the entire factory parts, with a new reproduction silk power cord and Bakelite plug. If you collect these "Grand Cathedrals", and insist on the finest conditioned sets, there will be no better example of this radio to be found. 19-3/4"H x 16"W x 11"D.
