Zenith 6-S-128 Tombstone (1936)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Zenith 6-S-128 Tombstone (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

When it came to making terrific and dependable radios, Zenith Radio was unquestionably the best. They were all that was great about American engineering and manufacture. These sets have a huge following among collectors, and with good reason. This very large tombstone is a terrific example of both the quality of these sets and as nice example that I have ever offered for sale. I think my photos will detail the very fine original cabinet, with the fine factory finish 99 percent still perfect today. Please study the big black dial, a Zenith hallmark. The dial lights dramatically in a darkened room and the factory wooden "Z" knobs. My technician, who is a life-long Zenith collector, has done an especially fine restoration of the chassis. As with all of our radios, the old filters and caps are replaced with state of the art replacements that will offer decades of fine service and reliability. The size offers a dramatic sound quality. These were the kinds of sets that made Zenith Radios the collector's choice. 22-1/2"H x 17-1/2"W x 13"D.
