THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is a seldom seen early super-het cathedral radio. Colonial Radio was known for some of the finest made radios with a terrific eye for classic design. The radio is in immaculate condition. Made from the very finest American Walnut, the condition is extremely fine. The radio has an ornate bezel made of repwood, painted in gold, and I would describe the radio as "understated elegance." The radio is a powerful player; contained is a six-tube chassis and over-sized ten-inch speaker. My technician has done a complete restoration of this beautiful radio. The set is a fantastic player! 17-1/2"H x 15"W x 8"D. |
