This is a stunning radio made by Climax Radio for the national chain, Lafayette Radio. Climax Radio was one of the most advanced makers of the era, and this radio reflects all of its famed qualities. The radio is a five tube, dual band model. The radio is crafted of some of the nicest American Walnut that I have seen. The graining of the veneers, with a very fine original finish makes the radio a standout. The radio was designed to resemble a jukebox, and is highly unusual. The radio was restored by my technician to a like new condition. The filters and caps were completely replaced and the tuner aligned. A new power cord and plug offer you fine and safe operation. Please note the full factory back and tags. 12"W x 8-1/2"H x 6"D.
