Stromberg was a fine maker of some of the highest quality radios. They had a background in scientific equipment and telephones for fifty years before making radios, the latest rage. The quality of the electronics was superb, and they designed and made some of the finest cabinets anywhere. This model looks highly Deco, with an exquisite use of Rosewood. The condition is fine and the speaker cloth factory. Add the high styled wood knobs, and you have an exterior to match the electronics. This is a dual band five tube receiver. Note the hallmark octagonal dial in perfect condition. My tech has done a super job in his repairs and the radio plays perfectly. A mid-sized table radio at 15"W x 9-1/4"H x 8-3/4"D.
