THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
You are looking at one of the most distinctive radios made in 1931. This radio is a six-tube TRF, and in unique with the circle grille decorated with a black swan. The radio has a crest, out of rep-wood which only details the set in a more decorative way. The radio is an older and nice refinish with what appears to be replacement speaker cloth and the correct factory knobs. My tech has given this set careful repair and the radio plays great. TRF circuits are an early type, which plays the strongest stations best. The type of circuit may require a longer antenna than later produced super-hets. A stunning radio to add to your collection, as this was one of the "special" early cathedral radios. 15-1/2"H x 12-1/2"W x 9"D. |
