Those of you who regularly shop my page often remark on my love for Canadian radios. I appreciate the fine craftsmanship they used on their cabinets and the superior electronics. In the 1930's, the government highly regulated the Canadian factories and required a much better level of electronics than the US government. So, you had better made radios there, and in much, much fewer numbers. This is a prime example from the very best factory. Curves on the corners and a cabinet made of the finest walnut veneers. The five-tube chassis is a quality two band radio playing AM and Shortwave. Note how the speaker vents on the top, allowing a wider and less directional sound throughout the room. My tech has done complete repairs to the radio and it is quite an impressive player. Completely original with a very fine factory finish, this radio shows only a few signs of use for its decades. 16-1/2"W x 13"H x 10-1/2"D.
