Clearly one of the most unusual shaped tombstones ever made. Made by Belmont Radio in Chicago, for the "Skyrover" line, this is a very distinctive radio. The unique look to this set makes a comparison to any other very difficult. I have only seen two of these in the last 45 years; they are very rare. The set is a five-tube model and plays on the AM broadcast band only. The cabinet is in very good and original condition, as are the dual dials and speaker cloth. The knobs are original, too. I was very impressed with the performance of this radio. My technician did a superb job in making his repairs and added a fine silk reproduction power cord and Bakelite plug for your safe use. 17"H x 13"W x 9-1/2"D.
