Zenith Zenette LH Cathedral (1931)
(wood tube cathedral radio)

Zenith Zenette LH Cathedral (1931)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

You are looking at a stunning example of one of the very few cathedral radios made by Zenith Radio. This example has a maple arch and varies from other examples of this model. The cabinet is in fine condition, with minor rippling at the base. These are very hard to find, and are some of the very earliest cathedrals made. They are also very pretty sets. The radio is in super condition with a fine finish and factory installed parts. The dial is a focal area on this radio, as the escutcheon is very large and bronze casted, showing a great deal of depth. These early sets were before the super-het era, and play well on the stronger local stations. The six tube chassis is a "TRF" circuit. My technician has done a complete repair to this beauty, and the radio plays as new. He fitted the set with a fine silk reproduction power cord and Bakelite plug for a very correct replacement. The radio is a Grand Cathedral at 19-1/2"H x 16"W x 10"D.
