Avalon 2302 (1934)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Avalon 2302 (1934)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

You are looking at a rare radio. Manufactured by Avalon, a small California factory located in Los Angeles. The radio is a straightforward five-tube super-het. The most interesting feature is the caramel colored pecan finish with the dramatic pickle finish. The effect is a unique look, and the condition of this hand applied finish is excellent. Note the really fancy Bakelite knobs, original along with the speaker cloth. There is minor shrinkage, hardly noticeable to the balance of the cabinet. My technician has done his usual complete and professional repairs the radio is a really fine player. Here is a chance to snag an obscure set. 15"H x 13-1/2"W x 9"D.
