This is a seldom offered mini tombstone which is a very desired radio. The set is an advanced five-tube super-het that offers both AM and Shortwave. As a side note, this is identically the same chassis offered in the blue mirror model 557. The radio plays on both broadcast and shortwave. The speaker vents from the top of the radio and the sound simply radiates in all directions. The cabinet is made of the finest American walnut and has a fine luster and original finish. This outstanding example has the factory installed speaker cloth and knobs. The chassis has been completely repaired by my tech Les, who has done a complete and exacting repair. He has added a mini-plug to the radio so you can use this set with your modern devices. There is a fresh power cord and plug for your safe operation as this is a radio that you will greatly enjoy playing. 13-1/2"W x 13"H x 9"D.
