THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Stromberg Carlson made some very fine radios. They were a scientific equipment manufacturer in the late 1800s and started in the new century with telephones and then radios when they became a hot consumer item. Fashioned, by sophisticated engineering, these radios were very well made. This model is a seven-tube super-het that offers both AM and Shortwave. This "blonde" was refinished well by a previous collector and shows a minimal amount of veneer wear for the years. The radio retains the factory speaker cloth and knobs. Les has done his usual highly professional repairs and the set plays great through a full range 8-inch speaker. The preinstalled mini-jack allows the connection of any modern input device. Bluetooth is available for an additional $25. 18"H x 13-1/4"W x 12"D. |
