THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This was the second to the last of the most advanced early super-het cathedral radios. This model is a seven-tube model with automatic volume control a year or two before any other maker. The radio was the Mercedes of the era with the finest of cabinetry and advanced electronics. The radio is in a factory original condition with a minimal amount of surface wear, accurate reproduction speaker cloth and the factory installed knobs. Les has done his highly professional repairs and in addition to the usual electronics, has replaced all of the aged rubber coated wire which is the best manner of update. He has added a exact cloth (silk/cotton) reproduction power cord to replicate the way the radio came from the factory. Les has installed a mini-jack to allow your connection of any modern device to input any content you might wish to listen to. The offerings on the internet are free and unlimited and of course anything stored on your input device. Bluetooth is available for $25! 19-1/4"H x 15-7/8"W x 10-3/4"D.
