Clinton 735 Tombstone (1939)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Clinton radios are prized by advanced collectors. They made radios for the catalogue retailers in Chicago and a limited number under their own label. They were known for the most advanced electronics with the mysterious Plant A being the "skunk works" of the radio world. The most advanced and secretive technologies originated in that factory. This is a fine seven-tube super-het playing on both AM and Shortwave. The bright green tuning eye winks as you tune from station to station and the dial lights change positions on the brightly lit multi colored dial. The cabinet appears to be in very nice factory finish with what appears to be period correct replacement speaker cloth. The knobs are originals. Les has completed his professional repairs and the radio plays like new in the sophisticated electronics of the era. Les added a mini-jack for your connection of any modern device. Listen to an unlimited choice of content of your choosing. Bluetooth is available for $25! 18-3/4"H x 13=1/4"W x 10-1/4"D.
