General Electric M-82 Tombstone (1933)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

General Electric M-82 Tombstone (1933)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is the largest and most sophisticated radio ever offered by General Electric. It shares the same chassis as the RCA 143, heralded as one of the best receivers ever made. The radio is remarkable with the advanced circuits and dramatic shortwave reception ability. The radio offers all of the whistles and bells, tone control and macro/micro watch dial tuning by extending and depressing the tuning control. The radio has been refinished by a professional and is dramatic in the matched burl veneers on the face of the radio. The speaker cloth and knobs are original to the radio. This massive scaled eight-tube super-het offers a sound like no others. Les has done his complete professional repairs and remarked on the caliber of the circuits. He also added a mini-jack for your attachment of any modern device and allowing you to listen to anything you would choose. This is a radio to listen to. Bluetooth is available for an additional $25! This is an extremely heavy and large radio so know the shipping will be more expensive. 20-1/8"H x 17-1/2"W x 16"D.
