RCA 6T5 Tombstone (1937)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

RCA 6T5 Tombstone (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

I love selling this series of RCA radios! The company owned most of the patents in the 1930's and offered the finest elements of technology available. This particular model is a six-tube model with a new green tuning eye which has dramatic sensitivity. The radio plays on both broadcast and shortwave. Part of the quality features is a tone control allowing a custom pleasing sound setting and dual tuning ability with separate micro/macro tuning. The radio has been refinished in a terrific manner. The speaker cloth is a reproduction of a period correct pattern. The knobs are originals. There is a minor blemish to the veneer, hard to see on the left side so please study photo #4. The radio is a tall and narrow cabinet with a full range speaker and a dramatic use of striped mahogany. My tech has completed his professional repairs and the radio plays as new. Everything makes this radio a fine and reliable player. Added to the radio is a mini-jack to allow you to connect the set to any modern type of device. This will allow you to listen to anything you might wish from your phone, pad or computer. Bluetooth is available for an additional $25! 20-3/4"H x 13-1/4"W x 10"D.
