The company was founded making scientific equipment in the 1800's, moving to telephone and on to the latest consumer rage...radios. The company was run by engineers and as a result they made extraordinary high quality products. This example is a seven tube super-het in the smashing elaborate cabinet highlighted with book matched American walnut side panels and top. The face of the radio is rosewood butt burl. The radio has been finely refinished by an earlier collector and has a nice sheen. The speaker cloth is period correct reproduction, and the unique wooden knobs factory originals. My technician has completed his professional repairs and the radio is a terrific player. Note the brand new green tuning eye which winks in a active manner as you tune from station to station. He added our mini-jack to allow you to connect the radio to any modern device to enjoy an unlimited content. AM transmitter and Bluetooth options are available starting at $25!
