Pilot G294-B (1939)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Pilot G294-B (1939)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Designed as a export model, the radio processes a huge transformer allowing for the 220 volts more common elsewhere. We have set it for 115-120 volts for the American domestic market. The radio is of the highest grade, with four band capabilities but with two of them vacant today offers both AM and Shortwave. The radio is a highly sophisticated seven-tube model with a bright and new green tuning eye. Note the messily scaled and highly detailed dial. The speaker cloth is period correct reproduction and the knobs the proprietary factory installed ones. The cabinet is dramatic with the most outrageous use of exotic veneers and a professional refinish in a super high gloss Sherwin Williams lacquer. My tech has completed his trained professional repairs and the radio is quite special. His work included adding a mini-jack for your connection to any modern type of device or one of our Bluetooth receivers for only $25. 20"H x 15-1/2"W x 12"D.
