Brunswick 12 (1930)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Brunswick 12 (1930)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a really special radio! This model was made along with a limited number by the famous Brunswick Company, as a attempt to supplement their renown phonograph business. The construction both internally and by exterior is like none others. This radio is a tombstone style, crafted from mahogany and is embellished with dramatic casted rope repwood. Note the fine detail of the exquisite of the face and the spectacular grille. The finish is original and all other parts, with the exception of a period correct speaker cloth. The radio is a very early seven tube super-het and it plays quite well. I could not add the mini-jack cable to this radio. Your solution is below if this is of interest. Another neat and unique feature is the concentric volume, tone control and tuning dials. They operate from a central location on the face of the radio, with a replacement on/off switch on the back power cord. Built like a battleship, this is a collector's prize! AM transmitter and Bluetooth options are available starting at $25! Click here for details! 20-12"H x 17-1/2"W x 12"D.
