Grunow 501 Chrome Grille (1935)
(wood tube table radio)

Grunow 501 Chrome Grille (1935)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This little radio has a gorgeous mahogany cabinet with cherry accent inlays. Nice chrome grille and nickel plated escutcheons for the two lighted dials. Radio plays loud and clear, has been totally recapped, restored to my rigid specs and my guarantee applies. It has original Bakelite knobs and the original resistance cord (this cord will get slightly warm during operation but that is perfectly normal for this set). It won't get hot. I have polarized the plug and added an X2 capacitor for added safety. Cabinet has been refinished with two tone stains, toner and high sheen lacquer. Check out the original "Goat" tube shields! Very compact at 11"W x 8"H x 5-1/2"D. 14 pounds packed.
