Here is a very unusual radio. First of all, it has been restored inside and out, plays loud and clear, my guarantee applies. 6 tube TRF using push pull 45 output. There is no potentiometer for the volume control, it is done mechanically by moving the RF transformers apart. It works flawlessly. Original can type capacitors cleaned out and re-stuffed with fresh caps. Both of them have the date (1930) stamped on them. You can see it on the round one in the back but on the square one it is on the bottom. cabinet finished with lacquer. 17x14x8, about 30 lbs packed. |
