Philco 91 Cathedral (1933)
(wood tube cathedral radio)

Philco 91 Cathedral (1933)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This radio is pristine. It is the same size as the ever popular 90 complete with push-pull outputs, but with the exception that it includes a shadow meter and the cabinet has slightly different trim. The chassis has been completely restored including restuffing all the caps including the Bakelites under the chassis and the original copper Mershons (those are really getting hard to find). Resistors all replaced with fireproof film types (except for the original B+ divider). The shadow meter works fine and the radio plays loud and clear. New grille cloth, and new cloth covered cord. There are new rubber mounts on the chassis and tuning module. The cabinet is finished in satin spar varnish so it will look much like it did when new. About 30 lbs packed.
