THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This marvelous Art Deco styled set was made by Stromberg Carlson in Rochester, NY. Features
a beautiful Brazilian Rosewood cabinet that has been expertly refinished with clear and black
lacquers. It is a large tabletop with the trademark Stromberg Carlson octagonal dial. This model is highly desired and relatively expensive, as they are rare and very Art Deco. A five-tube set, it receives the AM Broadcast band and two shortwave bands. Plays loudly and clearly on all bands. My extensive electronics restoration (replace filters and paper caps, check resistors and tubes, align, etc.) has been done and it is warranted for 90 days. Aux input cable (iPod, CD player, etc.) has been added (did not change the cabinet or chassis in any way). Weighs 19 pounds, 16"W x 9-1/2"H x 8-1/2"D. |
