This very rare, fantastic looking, and superb playing Tombstone radio is ready for you to proudly display and listen to. It was made by Fairbanks, Morse and Co., in Indianapolis in 1937. A five tube receiver, it covers the broadcast band (550-1700 KC) and has short-wave band coverage (in two bands) up to 22 MC. The cabinet was restored using the finest toning and clear lacquers. The electronics are restored. The very colorful dial, original escutcheon and dial glass cover are in perfect condition, grille cloth is reproduction. When the Police and Shortwave Bands are selected, only those bands are illuminated. Chassis images are available, 90 day warranty applies. Aux input has been added: play your favorite tunes or old time radio shows from CD player, iPod, etc. A Bluetooth receiver can be added for $30 and you can stream your tunes from your phone, etc. Weighs 20 lbs, 18"H x 14"W x 9"D. |
