| Here is a superb Stromberg-Carlson 225H radio fully restored with MP3 input cable. An iconic Art Deco design with rosewood veneer and legendary Stromberg Carlson quality! The cabinet has been top coated and has an excellent sheen but does not have a "plastic" look like gloss lacquers can give. The veneer is is excellent condition. The chassis is super clean and the radio not only plays well but I would call it a hot performer. It is very lively on the AM broadcast band as well as on both shortwave bands! It has a cable and plug to connect to your smart phone, Bluetooth receiver or MP3 player. It has a replacement ballast resistor designed to last longer than the original. It has new cloth ground and antenna wires. It is ready to play! A superb set! It will be very well packed to arrive safely by FedEx Ground. You can pick it up near Spartanburg, SC if you want to save postage. |
